The “Carton of Eden” is inspired by the whimsical handbag and shoe-shaped planters at the SF Flower Mart.
The Carton of Eden is an informal presentation of a wild and carefree garden of naturally preserved and dried plants in a bed of Spanish moss arranged in a natural craft tote.
The bouquet includes preserved rose, eucalyptus, dried bougainvillea, lavender, and assorted wildflowers.
Dried bougainvillea is a flowering vine reminiscent of European villas where it thrives in the heat. In the preservation process, dried petals are replaced by hand with glue to the vine.
